Staff

Receive regularly training which must be updated at regular interval in order to keep them compliant. All staff have to complete an induction programme when working with Winraycare Housing and attend regular supervision, team meetings, and team days regularly in order to ensure that all staff are understanding of clients’ specific support needs

Staff receives training in:

• Basic First Aid
• Basic Health and Safety
• Food Hygiene
• Fire Safety
• Risk Assessment
• SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention)
• Communication
• Medication
• Autism Training
• Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults

All staff are all DBS Checked and have an understanding of:

• Communicating with individuals with autism
• Support planning
• Meeting health needs
• Supporting privacy, dignity, and sexuality
• Team work
• Pro-active and reactive behaviour management
